Upon entering the cabin you will find the great room offers comfortable seating, flat screen TV and a wood stove for evening chillin'! The main level offers 2 bedrooms and a high-quality full bath sure to impress. The kitchen is set up for a the chef in the family - absolutely stocked to the 'T's! Upstairs in the loft you will find a work desk with computer ready for your 'must do' work and the master suite is enormous! The King bed gives you plenty of room to spread out and the Master bath offers a large soaking tub. Be close to Deep Creek & WISP Ski Resorts while still being 'in the forest' at this awesome log cabin! Minutes to Frostburg Maryland with a great "small college town" feel and all of the amenities that come with that as well!

Wonderful family time.

This listing is just as described, and more! We will definitely be coming back for another stay. Our family enjoyed our time away just being together at this cabin. It was cozy inside and beautiful outside! We enjoyed using the woodstove, porch, and cooking in the well -equipped kitchen. This cabin had everything we needed to relax together as a family. It was very clean, check out was easy, and location was easy to find.

Wonderful home

My family and another family stayed at the Bear in the Woods house for a weekend while attending a wedding nearby. The home was wonderful – incredibly clean, comfortable, and everything we needed (and didn’t know we needed!) was there. The sleeping options allowed us plenty of space for two sets of parents and two sets of kids, with blankets and pillows to spare. The only challenge was that the beautiful staircase and giant master bedroom were so enticing to our little ones that we did a lot of chasing toddlers. Next time, I’d bring a portable baby gate 🙂
