Such an adorable cabin with all the comforts of home. Cozy bed, fully equipped kitchen and so close to so many adventures in nature. Perfect jumping off point for hiking Swallow Falls.

The cabin is cute and cozy. However it is advertised as a “secluded” cabin. It is far from it. It is about 100 feet off of the road and there are several other cabins within rock throwing distance. It cute and nice but if your looking for secluded and peaceful this is not the place.

Most of our guests do find a ‘cabin in the forest’ to be private and secluded but perhaps for your next visit you can call us directly and we will advise of cabins that may be more remote that would fit your desires. A very welcoming, comfortable cabin with everything a relaxing or outdoor active renter could want. Great communications with quick response, very clean. They made our stay for our anniversary getaway memorable and we were glad to find “a little piece of heaven!

Very cute cabin near Deep Creek and Swallow falls. We had a great time (and so did our dog!) on a short trip away. If you are planning to cook while here I’d recommend bringing any kitchen tools (knives, bottle opener, mixing bowls) you might want to use since the kitchen is pretty sparse. Overall a great option for a couple planning to hike and relax in the woods.

This was a wonderful experience. Even when things went wrong (the refrigerator broke–twice) it was made right. Nice location near Swallow Falls State Park.

Amazing and the perfect place for a weekend getaway with the girlfriend! The cabin is brand new and very well built. It is small but has all the necessities you need while you’re there. The location may be the best part. It is right up the road from Swallow Falls (less than 5 minutes) and only 10-12 minutes from everything else in Deep Creek. The cabin was also one of the only places in the area we actually received cell phone service so we were able to keep up with work and personal matters at the end of the day as needed! We plan to stay here again next year when we go back to Deep Creek for another visit.

We were only the 2nd guests, this place is newly built and very well done! Very close to Swallow Falls and only about 15 minute drive to downtown Oakland and McHenry. Check in before dark as directed as it is hard to spot the sign in the dark.

Place was very nice and cozy. It was far enough in the mountain to really feel like you are getting that camping experience, but close enough to town to get all the item you need. All in all I throughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone look for a place to rent in the deep creek area.
