Beautiful little cabin tucked in the woods. Lots of wildlife so keep ur ears and eyes open! We had an amazing time!

We loved coming here it was super cute and just perfect for two. It was a special weekend we ended up getting engaged! I would come back again!

This was a great experience for a first-time glamper like myself. Everything was well kept. No disturbances and just one with nature.

We had a very nice stay. Just take some dvds to watch as there is no cable, dish or internet. But we’ll worth the stay. Nice and relaxing

You are really up in the mountains with nature all around you. It’s very quiet and away from it all. Lot of outdoor activities set by host.

We had a great weekend staying at the cabin! It’s a perfect place for a budget conscious couple to stay in the area, especially for a fall trip. Great proximity to the lake and a number of great hiking destinations. Loved the hammocks and the fire pit!

My girlfriend and I shared an absolutely wonderful weekend at Romel’s Retreat. The cabin was extraordinarily clean and well kept! All of the necessary amenities were readily available. We enjoyed a fire, were able to grill out, cook breakfast in the kitchen, and have a restful nights sleep. Everything in the deep creek area was so close and easy to get to! We would definitely recommend going to see the falls! The directions given were spot on. It is definitely worth the cost, and we look forward to going back in the future! Thank you so much for great hospitality!

The location is absolutely gorgeous! So much to do in the area! You have so much space to yourself! It was nice to get away from everything for a minute and just be at peace. Cooking over a fire. Playing some horseshoes. Reading a book in a hammock. It was perfect. Surrounded by wildlife, with trails to hike not so far away, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to book!

Great location for my 6-yo daughter and I. The cabin was clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches to inspire our journies. We enjoyed quiet mornings listening to the songbirds and at night making s’mores around the firepit and stargazing. All in all, terrific value!

It was everything and more than what I had imagined. Worth every penny, going back again.

Very cute cabin, not hard to find at all and conveniently located close to many things to do and places to go. We loved the fact they had board games and outdoor games as well. The cabin is small, cozy and even romantic for a couple or intimate and big enough for an small group of friends. The communication was fast and prompt enough. I must warn you to be prepared for a phone/WiFi free stay, since the signal is almost none. If we go back to Deep Creek Lake we will definitely stay at the cabin again!! Thanks for the little touches and how clean the cabin was.

A really nice place to stay for small family or couple. kids activities, firepit, picnic table and grill. Cabin is set in woods ut a nice big field for the volleyball and soccer. turkeys and deer walk right past cabin while enjoying covered porch with my coffee. brilliant stars at night by fire pit. central to deepcreek, swallow falls, Herrington manor, and Yakagany River. very new clean smaller cabin set away from other mountain retreats.

The cabin was cute, quaint and exactly what we were looking for to accommodate our girls’ weekend. The fire pit was a wonderful addition to our cold nights and the cabin heated very nicely. We enjoyed waking up to watch deer and turkey munch on their breakfast in the front lawn. The drive way was a bit wonky to navigate but once we got the hang of it, it was a very fun and cool experience.

Indeed we do utilize a local rental company to caretake the cabin as the remoteness requires good oversight to ensure no problems that aren’t promptly handled. This place surpassed our expectations. It was a fantastic time. The views from the cabin were phenomenal and I recommend it to anyone who wants to go to western Maryland.

My wife and I went on a birthday trip here with our married friends. It was the perfect amount of space for two couples, with enough privacy. It was the size of a tiny house and super cute. We were rained and snowed in during our entire stay and I absolutely LOVED it! It was exactly what I wanted; quaint, quiet, and nestled in nature, but still close to town.

This cabin is so clean and amazing. The road up is a little sketchy; the car we brought is very low to the ground and we were concerned, but made it fine. We were surprised that there were other cabins in view, but the view of the mountains below is absolutely breathtaking. GPS directions are useless, but written directions in email are spot on. The beds were all a little uncomfortable, but that is just personal preference. Would absolutely stay again!
