Our multigenerational family had a wonderful but too-short fall weekend. We made good use of the grills, played in the yard, visited the nearby state park, and visited the dock for a fishing lesson for the grandkids. The house was a perfect size for our group of 10. We did all of our own meal prep and found all of the equipment we needed for cooking, serving and grilling. No ingredients were available in the house (even salt and pepper) but there is a grocery store about 15 minutes away in McHenry.

The home was perfect for our group needs. Everyone’s room was nicely appointed and everything was very clean and fresh. Perfect location for our ski trip to Wisp. We will definitely use you again the next time I have a large group of friends join me on a ski mini-vacation.

Great place for a weekend get-away. Wouldn’t recommend for any longer periods or a group larger than 10 people. However, the house itself was great for our group. Fire pit outside was perfect & the house is close to the main portion of Deep Creek & the marinas. NOTE: There is NO AC in the house. It’s super humid & hot in the basement bedrooms. 2 of the 4 bedrooms upstairs have window AC units & there are several box fans accessible around the house which did help, especially having cooler nights! The dock is not on the property, it’s a bit of a walk and super sketchy. I believe this house would be PERFECT house for a winter trip.

We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and we had a great time. The house is well laid out as a group house in that the bedrooms are separate from the hanging out spaces, the hot tub isn’t outside a bdrm room window, etc. It was around 70 degrees outside and the inside house temp was always comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen. The pre check in emails said there is enough toilet paper, garbage bags etc “to get started†but there was enough for our two day stay. The hot tub fits 4p comfortably. The dock is up the road from the house, it’s pretty basic with just some wooden boards that get wet and are pretty slippery.

Everything as described. Great place to stay and plenty of bed rooms for larger group. Bit hot in the upstair bedrooms. Box fans did help. Lots of trees around the house than expected.
