This place really is cozy!! Comfortable beds plenty (more than you could need) pillows! Great location..12 mins to the places we go most to the most while up there..Walmart and the slopes! Only 1 hill gave us trouble so I do recommend listening to Bob and have either AWD/4×4 or chains…we made it up in our Honda Odyssey but i am a nervous nelly so having chains would have really been the smart thing to have. I do recomend if you are a light sleeper either take one of the rooms upstairs or if anyone wants to watch tv send them down in the basement or into one of the other bedrooms. I am not a light sleeper but ypu could hear tge tv from the living room in the main level bedroom. This was our 4th year as a family coming to deep creek for the week between Christmas and New Years and as all the previous years Bob and the rest of the Offlake staff was AMAZING! They have spoiled us that are expections are now so high other rental property management companies all seem subpar and impersonable. Another great successful family ski trip thanks to Offlake rentals!

Very cozy cabin. Perfect for families. Having WiFi, direct TV and a TV in every room made days of inclement weather much more bearable. The hot tub was a definite plus! The location is great for easy access to Wisp and Deep Creek attractions. My recommendation is if using GPS to find attractions use the cabin WiFi to “find” the location before you leave. There’s a serious dead zone that lasts until you reach 219. Will definitely return. Great cabin.

We loved our stay at the Cozy Cabin. It’s a really great spot, and we enjoyed our time there. It’s close to Swallow Falls State Park, which was a high point for us. Our dog loved running around outside, and our kid loved the fire pit and basement games. The house itself is comfortable, spacious and has everything you need. As other reviewers have mentioned, we did buy drinking water and I would recommend that. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working when we were there, but the hosts and management company worked with us on that. We would definitely come back.

Great getaway location from the DMV area with crisp air and beautiful views. Very cleanly property with a homey feel as you’d expect with a cabin getaway. Only downfall was that we were notified the hot tub was broken the day before arrival so there was no time to book other accommodations and initially the only compensation was early check in. Fortunately the mgmt company eventually refunded a days worth of our stay and gave early check in/late check out.
Lastly, it was neat to see the town of Oakland, MD during their Winter fest which was a wine walk to at 7 different stops in their quaint little town. The mgmt company actually provided the heads up.
Managers Reply: So very sorry for the hot tub failing just prior to your visit. Certainly we made every effort to have the hot tub repair company make the tub whole; however supplies were hard to come by the explained to us. Very glad that you got out and visited our local area!

My stay in the cabin was just what I needed. Well equipped kitchen, lots of fun games and comfy couch, and a hot tub in the snow…. It was a very peaceful and comfortable few days. Thanks!

What a beautiful cabin and an amazing stay. True to its name, it provided a wonderfully comfy and cozy getaway for us, including our baby. The amenities were perfect and the time we spent there was exactly what we needed.

A great cabin that was very clean and well stocked. It is a little drive to Oakland or McHenry but that keeps things quiet and the stars were very bright. We loved the hot tub and fire pit.

This was the best cabin stay I’ve ever had. The cleanliness was fantastic and the overall feeling of the cabin was very cozy! The hosts have a beautiful set up, you won’t be disappointed staying here! I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Stacy from Offlake! She was a pleasure to speak with and even left us a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our anniversary. Hope to be back very soon!
