Amazing place to stay. My family and I went for a long weekend. The cabin has everything you need and more. Very close to the Lake and all the bike and hiking trails that are close by. We had a great time making new memories on our first trip to Deep Creek. Looking forward to many more visits.

Travelers will enjoy the space and hominess away from home that comes with this venue. The layout is great and amenities are nice. Only downside was temperature control as it did get warm inside and there was not evidence of AC.

Beautiful, spacious cabin in a secluded area which is just what my family was looking for. All linens, towels and kitchen necessities were provided which made mom’s job easy. The fire pit is a nice amenity to enjoy outside as well as the large porch with ample seating. We loved the lighting around the porch at night and really enjoyed our time here. My kids each had their own “space”, the basement rec area was fantastic for my teens to enjoy and honestly everything is within an easy drive of the cabin. We enjoyed Swallow Falls the most, rode the mountain coaster at Wisp resort, drove to Cranesville swamp in WV, hiked the Lostland Trail in Potomac Garrett State Forest and spent some time at the beach in Deep Creak Falls State Park. Everything was relatively close to the cabin and there was much more we would have liked to have done but couldn’t squeeze in. Thanks again for a fantastic place to stay while we enjoyed some family time!

We loved our stay at this cabin! G maps led us right there and we were greeted with beautiful twinkle lights on the porch. The code was easy and worked perfectly to enter. We found the house very clean with fresh sheets and towels in each room. We also found beautiful Christmas decorations which made us smile. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and they provided a welcome bag with extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, a new sponge, hand sanitizer and even lip balm!
We really enjoyed the fire pit (bring your own wood) and the game basement. We loved playing foosball, ping pong and pool (but only one stick was working). The air hockey was broken, but that was fine. Truly our biggest complaint was the ugly paint job in the basement which didn’t really impact our stay at all. We would definitely stay there again and tell others about it!

Their home checked every box that I wanted and more! Clean, safe, modern appliances, child proof main floor, private, 24 hour assistance (we didn’t need anything), supplies, etc. We even had a game room in the basement and individual thermostats in every room. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation. See you again.

It was a great weekend getaway! Beautiful and quiet place. The accommodations were excellent, and our kids had a blast exploring the games in the basement. It was a great added bonus that kept them entertained and engaged throughout our stay. The hosts had thoughtfully provided a variety of games, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Great cabin. We spent a lot of time grilling on the deck, which was super spacious and had nice furniture and tables. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The cabin was in a short drive of all the attractions while being in a quiet and peaceful location. We had a great time and would stay again.

It’s close to many activities and eateries.
It is very comfortable and clean throughout.

We had a nice private stay in Deep Creek. Home is close to everything!! The kids had a blast. When the grill wasn’t working properly someone came out and fixed it the very next day. Would definitely stay here again! Bonus- lots of fun stuff in the basement for kids.

This is a beautiful home tucked away in a private setting. It is still so close to all of Deep Creek’s amenities. Perfect for families with kids- the basement was the perfect hang out spot for the kids! Would highly recommend! 5 stars!

We rented this house to have a place to stay while visiting family in Oakland and Friendsville, Maryland. We brought my mom and dad (87 & 89, respectively). We all absolutely loved this home and the fact that it was equipped with everything we needed. Such a beautiful home—-so warm and so cozy. We have rented many cabins over the years but, I’ve got to say—-this one is the best ever! We really enjoyed the fact that it was decorated for Christmas and we loved the game room!! Would love to come back and bring our grandchildren. Off lake Rentals is A#1, also!

Secluded lot with a lot of privacy with plenty of parking. Nice open layout inside and a great deck and fire pit area. There is no A/C but it didn’t matter even in the middle of August.

We had a great stay at Fish R Landing. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub—very relaxing, which was just what we had in mind. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the cabin is very convenient to the lake as well as restaurants and activities. There was a nice welcome packet with information about things to do waiting for us, and the cabin had all the kitchen supplies we needed and good wifi and cable. We had been a little worried about the lack of air conditioning, but it wasn’t necessary at all. Thanks for a great weekend!

Thanks so much for your feedback – always valued! Indeed it is hard for many of our guests to realize the lack of importance of AC in our mountainous setting but we know that the fans, combined with the elevation and Forested setting, generally keeps things nice and cool!

Fantastic cabin in the woods with close proximity to the lake. Well maintained, plenty of space, excellent finished basement to watch movies and play games. We loved it. Definitely coming back next year!

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Such a nice house, comfortable, spacious and super clean. Convenient to restaurants and shops but still a little tucked out of the way. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful house in the woods very close to McHenry and Wisp Resort. Well equipped and nicely decorated. Our kids loved all the games in the basement. Would be happy to come back.
