The Great Escape is truly that. It’s convenient to everything, but you feel secluded. We had kids from ages 1 to 6 and all had a blast. There was plenty of room to run, jump, slide (we brought a slip and slide) and just hang out. The smore’s on the fire pit were a perfect end to the evening. The kitchen is well apportioned with plenty of cookware and serving dishes . The bunk bed room is downstairs, which is great for containing noise – but kind of far at night. We had a baby monitor, which worked out perfectly. We definitely plan to stay here again on our future trips to Deep Creek.
