So clean and a great location!

Perfect little cabin! Exactly as advertised and incredibly clean. The location is perfect, a lot closer to the Deep Creek area than I originally expected. Owners were super helpful. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Getaway House

My husband and I came to stay at this cabin in January to celebrate our anniversary weekend. It was perfect! The size of the place was just right for two people. We loved playing games at the table, and very much enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the porch each night. We hiked in the snow at swallow falls, just down the road, ate at Dutch’s for dinner. Had breakfast at the swallow falls country store across the road (those people were so friendly and the food was great!) It was really cold inside when we arrived (only 10 degrees outside), but it warmed up within a few hours once we turned the heat up. Definitely recommend bringing extra blankets if you’re staying in the winter. And slippers! The floor didn’t get any warmer. Obviously, that wouldn’t be an issue when it’s not winter. Haha. Just didn’t think about it.

Everything was quiet and lovely. There are other houses in the vicinity. So not totally private. Though, no one else was staying there when we were it seemed. But we very much enjoyed our time at this house and hope to return again!

Serene and quiet, the perfect location!

This one-room cabin really was a Peaceful Getaway! THE CABIN Complete with a kitchen & full bathroom, everything you need is housed in this cozy space. The porch is a lovely place to eat breakfast in the quiet woods and the fire pit offers a warm evening activity (s’mores recommended, of course). THE LOCATION The location is quiet and serene; there are a handful of other cabins in the area, though, which is reassuring in case of any sort of emergency. Firewood is available for $5.50/bundle in the 3-wall shed at the entry to the property. Across the street is Swallow Falls Country Store, offering up some of the best bacon and home fries we’ve ever had. Just a mile and a half down the road is Swallow Falls State Park, which is absolutely stunning (and allows dogs during the off-season). 100% recommend — we will be back!
