You are off the grid here. The savage river is docile until it rains and then you get a nice rapid flow. It is nice to be so close to the river. My wife and I and our two dogs walked all over the mountains in the surrounding state parks. We went to swallow falls and saw all the waterfalls in that area. Very beautiful.
